First seen Nov 10, 2025 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 28 times

Summary

This study tested an experimental immunotherapy called VTP-850 in 22 men whose prostate cancer had returned after initial treatment (surgery or radiation). The goal was to see if the treatment was safe and could lower PSA levels, a marker of cancer activity. The trial was terminated early, but results help guide future research.
