Pelvic fracture patients: how common are blood clots despite prevention?
NCT ID NCT07165587
First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 30 times
Summary
This study looked at how often blood clots (venous thromboembolism) occur in people with pelvic or hip-socket fractures who received standard clot-preventing medication. 81 adults were monitored with ultrasound scans during their hospital stay. The goal was to better understand clot risks in these injuries, not to test a new treatment.
