First seen May 15, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study tests whether virtual reality (VR) can train new doctors as well as high-fidelity simulation (using lifelike mannequins) for handling emergencies like severe allergic reactions and low oxygen levels. About 124 medical interns will be randomly assigned to one training method, then tested on their skills. The goal is to see if VR is a good alternative for teaching emergency management.
