VR boosts nurse CPR skills in new study
NCT ID NCT07167303
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 18, 2026 · Updated 31 times
Summary
This study tested whether using virtual reality (VR) headsets helps nurses learn CPR better than traditional training. Sixty emergency and intensive care nurses were split into two groups: one practiced CPR in a VR scenario, the other used standard methods. Their knowledge was tested before, right after, and two weeks later. The goal was to see if VR makes learning more effective and enjoyable.
