VR headsets fight depression in hospitalized Moms-to-Be

NCT ID NCT07279311

Summary

This study tests whether virtual reality (VR) therapy can help reduce depression in pregnant women who are hospitalized for weeks due to pregnancy complications. Researchers will compare a 3-week VR therapy program to standard social work support. The main goal is to see if the VR approach is practical, acceptable, and more effective at easing depressive symptoms for these vulnerable patients.
