Summary
This study tested whether adding virtual reality technology to standard behavioral therapy could help children with autism. Researchers compared 62 children who received both treatments to 58 children who received only behavioral therapy over 12 weeks. They measured changes in autism symptoms, behavior problems, and developmental skills to see if the virtual reality made a difference.
