VR glasses aim to calm First-Time Moms' birth fears
NCT ID NCT07167030
Summary
This study tests whether watching educational stories through virtual reality (VR) glasses can help first-time pregnant women feel less fearful about childbirth, more confident in their ability to give birth, and more emotionally connected to their unborn babies. It will involve 112 women who are about 28 weeks pregnant. One group will use the VR program, while another receives standard care, to see if the VR experience makes a difference.
