VR training boosts precision in tricky back procedures

Summary

This study tested whether doctors who practice on a 3D virtual reality simulator before performing difficult lumbar steroid injections can do the procedure faster and more accurately. Thirty patients with challenging back conditions took part. The goal was to see if VR training improves procedure time and reduces the number of X-ray images needed.
