Virtual reality may ease pain after back surgery
NCT ID NCT07204197
Summary
This study is testing whether adding virtual reality exercises to standard physical therapy helps people recover better after surgery for a slipped disc in the lower back. Researchers will compare two groups: one doing standard therapy and another doing standard therapy plus VR exercises. They want to see if the VR group has less pain, moves better, and feels less anxious in the first days after surgery.
