Virtual reality training aims to boost empathy in future nurses

Summary

This study created a virtual reality (VR) learning program to teach nursing students about caring for people of all sexual orientations and gender identities. Researchers will compare how the VR training affects students' caring behaviors and empathy, both right after training and over time. About 130 nursing students with at least 80 hours of practice experience are taking part.
