NCT ID NCT07167394
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 33 times
Summary
This study compares two ways to help children aged 6-10 feel less anxious and experience less pain during their first dental treatment. One group will wear virtual reality glasses showing a game that explains the procedure step-by-step, while the other group will receive the standard tell-show-do method. Researchers will measure anxiety and pain using questionnaires and heart rate monitors. The goal is to see if the VR game makes dental visits more positive for children.
