Virtual reality offers Drug-Free relief for painful wound care

Summary
This study tests whether using virtual reality (VR) during dressing changes for pressure sores can lower pain and anxiety and boost patient satisfaction. About 62 adults with pressure wounds will be randomly assigned to receive standard care or standard care plus VR distraction. Researchers will measure pain, anxiety, and satisfaction before, during, and after the procedure.
