Virtual reality steps in to help patients walk easier

NCT ID NCT07472543

Summary

This study is testing whether adding virtual reality (VR) exercises to standard leg swelling therapy can help people walk better and feel better. It will involve 40 adults with leg swelling (lymphedema) after cancer surgery. Researchers will compare standard therapy alone to standard therapy plus VR exercises to see if the VR games improve walking patterns, reduce swelling, and increase quality of life.
