Virtual pups bring comfort to isolated hospital kids

Summary
This study is testing whether a virtual reality program called Reality PAWS, which lets children interact with a digital dog, is a practical and safe way to help kids who are isolated in the hospital. Researchers want to see if this VR experience can reduce feelings of pain, anxiety, and loneliness. About 50 children, aged 8 to 21, will try the program on a VR headset and answer questions about their experience.
