See your future body in VR to stay motivated for weight loss
NCT ID NCT07205029
Summary
This study tested whether using virtual reality (VR) to show people a 4D model of their body changing over time could help them stick to a Mediterranean diet for weight loss. 133 adults with overweight or obesity followed the diet for 6 months, with half also using the VR tool to visualize their progress. Researchers compared the two groups to see if the VR visualization improved motivation, diet adherence, and health outcomes like weight, body fat, and blood markers.
