Summary
This study tested whether watching an animated video through virtual reality (VR) glasses before surgery could reduce anxiety and fear in children aged 7-13 and their mothers. Sixty children having surgery for the first time and their mothers participated. The goal was to make the surgical experience less stressful and help children recover more smoothly.
