NCT ID NCT07393776
First seen Feb 06, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 13 times
Summary
This study looked at whether a virtual reality (VR) experience that has nothing to do with a traumatic event can affect how people remember it and how they feel afterward. 156 university students watched a fire video and then either used VR or did something else. The goal was to see if VR could change memory accuracy and emotions. This research aims to find new ways to help first responders who often face traumatic events.
