First seen Feb 17, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 11 times
Summary
This study tests a new rehab program for adults with wrist or hand injuries that need a cast or splint for 2–8 weeks. The program combines watching videos of hand movements through a VR headset and then practicing those movements, starting while the cast is still on. Researchers want to see if this early brain training can reduce pain, stiffness, and disability compared to standard rehab alone. About 28 people aged 18–70 will take part.
