VR headsets tested as new tool to help kids with ADHD focus

NCT ID NCT06123741

Summary

This study is testing whether a virtual reality (VR) training program can help children with ADHD improve their attention, self-control, and daily life skills. Researchers will enroll 88 children, aged 8-12, who are already taking medication for ADHD. The children will use VR headsets to practice tasks in simulated real-world environments, with the goal of seeing if the skills learned transfer to better function at home and school.
