Summary
This study checked if a new generic version of the stomach acid drug vonoprazan works the same as the brand-name drug Voquezna. Twenty-eight healthy adults took a single dose of each version under fasting conditions. The results showed the generic tablet was bioequivalent, meaning it releases the same amount of drug into the bloodstream.
