Your voice could warn doctors before surgery
NCT ID NCT07278232
Summary
This study aims to develop a simple, non-invasive test to predict if placing a breathing tube during anesthesia will be difficult. Researchers will record patients saying vowel sounds before surgery and analyze the voice patterns using computer software. The goal is to create a quick pre-surgery check that helps anesthesiologists better prepare, potentially improving patient safety.
