First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 28 times
Summary
This study tests a new technology that analyzes a person's voice during short phone calls to detect atrial fibrillation, a common heart rhythm problem. Researchers will enroll 40 adults scheduled for a cardioversion procedure to reset their heart rhythm. Participants will make three voice recordings before and after the procedure, and the results will be compared to standard ECG tests to see how accurate the voice analysis is.
