Summary
This study looks at whether special breathing exercises using two devices (EMST and triflo) can help academics prevent voice fatigue and voice problems. Forty academics who teach at least 9 hours a week will be randomly assigned to do these exercises or not. Researchers will measure voice quality, lung capacity, and tiredness of the voice over 5 weeks and again 2 months later.
