NCT ID NCT07277985

First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 17 times

Summary

This study compared two devices—a video laryngoscope and a traditional laryngoscope—for checking vocal cord movement after thyroid surgery. 102 adults having elective thyroid surgery took part. The goal was to see which tool gives a clearer, less traumatic view of the vocal cords right after the operation. Results will help doctors choose the best method for early detection of nerve injury.
