First seen Apr 04, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 8 times

Summary

This study tested whether injecting vitamins C or E near the teeth could help braces work better. 51 people getting braces received either a vitamin shot or a saltwater shot every few weeks for six months. Researchers measured how fast teeth moved, how much pain people felt, and signs of bone healing. The goal was to see if these vitamins could make orthodontic treatment more comfortable and efficient.
