Summary
This study tests whether taking vitamin K (menaquinone-7) supplements can reduce calcium buildup in heart arteries and improve artery flexibility in 450 adults with early signs of hardening arteries. Participants receive either vitamin K or a placebo daily for three years. The goal is to see if this simple vitamin can lower heart disease risk and support bone health.
