Summary

This study looks at giving extra vitamin D (800 IU daily) to extremely premature infants (born before 28 weeks or under 1000 grams) for their first 28 days. Researchers want to see if it improves vitamin D levels and helps lung, bone, immune, and brain health. About 180 babies will take part.
