Vitamin d education boosts levels in hypothyroid women, study finds

Summary
This study looks at whether teaching women with hypothyroidism and low vitamin D about the vitamin can help them take their supplements correctly and raise their blood levels. Sixty women will either get standard care or extra education sessions and phone calls. After 6 months, the study will compare vitamin D levels and how well they stuck to their medication.
