Summary
This study looked at how vitamin D (calcitriol) affects dopamine activity in the brains of people with opioid use disorder. Researchers used brain scans to compare dopamine levels between those with the disorder and healthy volunteers. The goal was to understand if vitamin D could help as an add-on treatment. Only 5 people took part, and the study is now complete.
