Summary
This study looked at whether vitamin C can reduce pain sensitivity in healthy adults. 38 volunteers took either vitamin C or a placebo, and researchers measured how much pressure they could tolerate before feeling pain. The goal was to see if vitamin C could be a safe, non-drug option for managing acute pain.
