Could vitamin c be a new painkiller?

NCT ID NCT06971315

Summary

This study tested whether vitamin C can help reduce pain. Researchers gave either vitamin C or a placebo (inactive pill) to 38 healthy adults and measured how much pressure they could tolerate before feeling pain. The goal was to see if vitamin C could be a safe alternative for people who cannot take common pain medications like ibuprofen or acetaminophen.
