First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 16, 2026 · Updated 32 times

Summary

This study looked at whether taking daily vitamin B complex can help prevent or reduce nerve pain (peripheral neuropathy) caused by the chemotherapy drug paclitaxel in women with ovarian cancer. 146 adult women took part. Half took vitamin B pills every day for 6 months while getting weekly chemo, and the other half did not. Researchers tracked their nerve pain symptoms to compare the two groups.
