First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tests a program called VITA that combines a smartphone app with in-person training to help older adults connect with others and find local activities. One hundred people aged 65 and older who live independently are taking part. The goal is to see if the app can reduce loneliness and improve social connections and well-being.
