New PET tracer lets doctors watch Cancer-Fighting cells in real time
NCT ID NCT07280793
First seen Dec 18, 2025 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 26 times
Summary
This early-stage study tests a new PET imaging agent called 68Ga-NOTA-BCMA to track CAR-T cells in people with multiple myeloma. Ten participants will receive the tracer before their scheduled CAR-T therapy, and doctors will use PET scans to see where the cells go in the body. The goal is to learn how long the cells last and if they reach tumors, which could help improve future treatments. This study does not treat the disease directly but aims to gather important information.
