Summary

This study tested whether showing children pictures and explaining the dental environment before treatment could lower their anxiety. 70 children aged 5 to 14 took part, with half receiving the visual lesson and half getting standard care. Results showed that the visual group felt less anxious and had lower heart rates, especially among older kids. This simple, non-drug approach could make dental visits easier for children.
