First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 26 times

Summary

This study looked at how people with high trait anxiety (a stable personality trait) process visual information, especially emotional faces. 23 young adults completed computer tasks to identify emotions in faces. The goal was to understand visual system function in anxiety, which could lead to new therapies targeting how the brain processes visual threats.
