Summary

This phase 2 trial tests the drug vismodegib in 45 people with advanced chondrosarcoma, a rare bone cancer that has spread and is hard to treat. Vismodegib works by blocking a growth signal in cancer cells. The study looks at how many patients have their tumors shrink or stay stable for at least 6 months.
