Scientists test if everyday light darkens your skin
NCT ID NCT07462845
Summary
This study aimed to understand how visible light from the sun and devices causes skin darkening on different skin types. Researchers tested several protective creams on 66 healthy volunteers with Caucasian, Asian, and darker skin to see which ones best prevented this darkening. They compared treated skin areas to untreated areas after controlled light exposure.
