Virus therapy trial offers new hope for Tough-to-Treat lung cancer

Summary
This study is testing a new two-step treatment for advanced non-small cell lung cancer that has started to grow again after initial therapy. One group receives an intravenous modified virus designed to attack cancer cells, followed by standard chemotherapy and immunotherapy. The other group receives a standard chemotherapy drug alone. The goal is to see if the virus-based approach better controls the cancer and helps patients live longer without their disease worsening.
