Parkinson's patients try VR to stay steady on their feet

Summary

This study tests whether virtual reality (VR) physiotherapy can improve balance, reduce fall risk, and boost exercise capacity in people with Parkinson's disease. Fifty participants, aged 55 to 75 with mild to moderate Parkinson's, will be randomly assigned to either VR-based or standard physiotherapy. Researchers will compare balance, fall risk, and quality of life before and after treatment.
