Summary
This study tested whether using virtual reality (VR) during a colonoscopy can lower patients' pain, nervousness, and the amount of sedative medication needed. 84 adults aged 18 to 80 took part. The VR headset showed calming images and sounds to distract patients during the procedure. The goal was to make the experience more comfortable and improve satisfaction.
