First seen Feb 01, 2026 · Last updated Jun 19, 2026 · Updated 23 times

Summary

This study tests whether wearing virtual reality goggles and watching cartoons can reduce pain and discomfort for children aged 4 to 12 during dental X-rays. Half of the 90 children will wear VR goggles during the procedure, while the other half will not. Researchers will measure pain using behavioral scales and children's own ratings to see if VR helps.
