First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 25 times

Summary

This study tests whether using a virtual reality headset before surgery can lower anxiety and improve heart rate, blood pressure, and breathing in women with gynecologic cancer. About 66 women will be randomly assigned to either watch a calming VR scene or receive standard care. Researchers will measure anxiety levels and vital signs before and after the intervention, and ask about satisfaction.
