First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 23 times

Summary

This study compares virtual reality (VR) training to traditional mannequin training for teaching medical students how to manage airway injuries. About 40 medical students will be randomly assigned to learn using either VR or a mannequin, then tested a week later. The goal is to see if VR can provide cheaper, more accessible training without sacrificing quality.
