Virtual reality workouts could replace clinic visits for back pain

NCT ID NCT07031947

First seen Apr 03, 2026 · Last updated May 18, 2026 · Updated 7 times

Summary

This study compares two ways of doing core stabilization exercises for people with chronic low back pain. One group does exercises at home using a virtual reality app and video calls, while the other group does the same exercises in person at a clinic. The goal is to see if the virtual reality method works just as well for reducing pain and improving daily function.
