New therapy aims to curb violence risk in young adults with psychosis

NCT ID NCT07417904

Summary

This study is testing whether a new therapy program called BRAVE is practical and acceptable for young adults with early psychosis who are at risk for violent behavior. BRAVE is a short, structured talk therapy designed to address factors that can lead to violence. All 30 participants will first receive their usual care, then switch to the BRAVE program plus their usual care to see if it helps reduce violent thoughts and behaviors.
