Summary
This study tests a program called Communities Care, which aims to change harmful social norms that lead to violence against women and girls in Somalia. Researchers will work with about 3,500 adults and adolescents (ages 10 and older) in two regions, comparing communities that receive the program to those that do not. The goal is to see if the program reduces violence, harassment, and harsh punishment, and improves safety and support for women and girls.
