Eye-training study aims to boost reading skills in kids with vision loss

NCT ID NCT05600140

First seen Jan 08, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 19 times

Summary

This study looks at how children with normal vision, eye problems, or brain-based vision issues (CVI) use their eyes to look at things. Researchers want to see if a special training program can help these children read and search for objects more quickly and accurately. About 60 children aged 5-12 will take part to test whether the training makes a real difference.
