Video workouts vs. doctor visits: which eases heel pain better?

NCT ID NCT07628218

First seen Jun 11, 2026 · Last updated Jun 15, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study tests if watching a video of exercises is as good as getting live instruction from a doctor for treating plantar fasciitis, a common cause of heel pain. About 300 adults with heel pain for at least 3 months will be randomly assigned to either a video or an in-person session. The goal is to see if both methods lead to similar improvements in foot function and pain after 3 months.
