First seen Apr 07, 2026 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 6 times
Summary
This study compares two ways doctors place a breathing tube during surgery: using a video camera (video laryngoscopy) versus the traditional direct method. The goal is to see which technique causes less stress on the heart and blood pressure, and how long each takes. About 124 adults having planned surgeries will take part, and their heart rate and blood pressure will be monitored closely.
